Gene Engle is an active Real Estate Broker and developer who has been or is serving as President of the Lakeland Board of Realtors, President of the Central Florida Development Council, President of the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors and member of the Executive Committee of the Sun 'n Fun Fly-In, Inc., Central Florida Racing Club, Lakeland Economic Development Council, and The University of South Florida Foundation Board of Trustees. He is a recent recipient of the coveted Lakeland Chamber of Commerce George Jenkins Award, The Florida Economic Development Council Volunteer of the Year Award, District 6, and the USF Lakeland Distinguished Service Award.
