Nancy Howe has spent the vast majority of her life in St. Petersburg and began her publishing career at the St. Petersburg Times while attending USF, majoring in archaeology.  She moved on to become the Managing Editor of Art & Design News (an international graphic arts magazine), and then to Maddux Business Report 18 years ago - starting out as circulation director, moving to associate publisher and then publisher for the past 8 years.   At the Maddux Business Report she is involved in all of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Organizations as well as the major ones across the high tech corridor.     Awards: Named the 2006 Business Woman of the Year from the Women's Council of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce August 2006 - Inducted into the Tampa Bay Business Women's Hall of Fame Current organization participation: Board of Director Tampa Bay Partnership Branding Committee CEO Council of Tampa Bay Advisory Board Chair at Star Tec Mentor USF College of Business Advisory Council USF Women in Leadership & Philanthropy Business Committee USF College of Business Free Enterprise Centre Club Board of Governors & Business Committee Recent previous organization participation includes: Board of Director Brookwood Home for Girls Board of Director & VP of Communications SMEI Board of Director A Gift for Teaching Pinellas Marketing Committee Co-Chair BAMA Community Relations Board Tampa Bay Research Institute Florida Magazine Association
