Michael
Landis
Mr. Landis has over 14 years of senior management, investment banking, and mergers & acquisitions experience. Mr. Landis is currently the SVP Finance & Corporate Development for Ideal Image Development, Inc., an international high growth health care services company. In addition to his customary activities as the senior finance member of the management team, Mr. Landis has raised venture capital for the company from HIG Capital, raised venture debt from Orix Venture Finance, and completed several acquisitions.
Prior to joining Ideal Image Development, Inc., Mr. Landis co-founded and was the CFO for a security software company, OpenNetwork Technologies. In addition to traditional CFO responsibilities at OpenNetwork, Mr. Landis partnered and raised venture capital from JP Morgan/Chase Capital, Battery Ventures, GE Capital and SI Ventures. In 2005, Mr. Landis sold OpenNetwork to BMC Software (NYSE: BMC), a $3.5 billion market cap company.
Mr. Landis also headed the Corporate Finance department for the investment-banking firm of William R. Hough & Company (acquired by RBC Dain Rauscher) where he provided capital raising and mergers & acquisitions services to private and public companies.
In addition, he was a co-founder of Chamberlain Funding Group, a NASD broker-dealer which provided capital raising and mergers & acquisitions assistance to companies in the Southeast. Chamberlain Funding Group was acquired by a larger, private investment bank.
Mr. Landis sold Chamberlain Funding to a regional investment banking firm. Mr. Landis earned a Master's degree in business administration from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Miami.
