Valeri Marks
Valeri is a seasoned, senior executive with over 25 years of experience and a proven track record of maximizing shareholder value in start-up and high-growth companies. Operating as President or CEO for the past 8 years, Valeri has built private companies from the ground up, run public company divisions, raised funding, integrated acquisitions, sold a company and assisted in an IPO. Valeri began her career in telecommunications, and after numerous functional roles, became President of Ameritech’s Interactive Media Services division. She launched Ameritech’s entry into the Internet marketplace with the development of the award-winning Online Yellow Pages site and ISP service. Following the acquisition by SBC, Valeri led SBC’s national Internet division of over 1,000 employees. After leaving the public company world, Valeri ran numerous private companies and is currently President & CEO of New Homes Realty, a national real estate company uniquely coupled with online media. Valeri received her MBA from the University of Michigan.
