The
Master of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies
The
Master of Science
Degree in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies (MS EAT) is
a unique, innovative, and interdisciplinary program. The course of
study is administered through the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University
of South Florida, in conjunction with the Colleges of Business, Engineering, and
Health.
This program consolidates Entrepreneurship education and training into a
single interdisciplinary program. Specific courses in opportunity recognition,
technology and market assessment, technology commercialization, new venture
formation, and new venture financing are taught within the participating
colleges. The program allows for completion within a concentrated one-year
(12-month) period or within a maximum five-year period. An individual who
has obtained a bachelor's degree in any area of study and meets the
application criteria is invited to apply.
The Master of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship may be taken in
conjunction with the MBA, Bio-Medical Engineering, Public Health, and other
various degree programs. A maximum of two graduate degrees may be pursued
concurrently. Approval to pursue a dual degree program is contingent upon
fulfilling the admissions criteria for each individual program.
Graduation will require
successful completion of the 30 hour curriculum, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (no
grades below “C”).
Classes are located on the Tampa Campus.
Some courses are additionally offered as live-feed web casting.
